Drying Machine Principle Overview:
The drum dryer's heat source comes from a combustion unit and employs a countercurrent heating method. Consequently, the material to be dried enters the drum from the feed bin and chute, being pushed backward by the spiral scraper. As the dryer is inclined, the material flows backward due to gravity and rotation, while also being repeatedly lifted by the scraper to the top and then scattered down continuously. This creates an even curtain of material inside the drum, allowing for ample heat exchange with the hot air inside. Through the repeated scattering, the moisture content in the material is gradually dried out, achieving the drying purpose.
Drying Machine Working Principle:
Power is generated through electrical, diesel, wind, and combustible sources to heat the ambient air, which is then distributed throughout to achieve the appropriate temperature for dehumidification. The specific process is as follows: Wet material is conveyed to the hopper by a belt conveyor or a bucket elevator, and then it is fed into the feeding end through the feeding pipe by the hopper feeder. The slope of the feeding pipe must be greater than the natural angle of repose of the material to ensure smooth flow into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined from the horizontal line. Material is added from the higher end, while the heat carrier enters from the lower end, contacting the material in a countercurrent manner; sometimes, both the heat carrier and the material flow into the cylinder together. As the cylinder rotates, the material moves under gravity to the lower end. During its forward movement within the cylinder, the wet material is directly or indirectly heated by the heat carrier, allowing it to dry. Then, it is discharged at the outlet end via a belt conveyor or a screw conveyor. Scrapers are installed on the inner wall of the cylinder, which function to lift and scatter the material, increasing the contact surface area with the airflow to enhance the drying rate and promote material movement. Heat carriers are typically hot air, flue gas, etc. After passing through the dryer, the gas usually requires a cyclone separator to capture the material carried by the gas. To further reduce the dust content in the exhaust gas, it should pass through a baghouse or a wet scrubber before being released.

Tumbler dryers are widely used in industries such as food, feed, chemicals, and mining. The working process of the equipment is as follows: After the wet material is dehydrated and added to the dryer, it is evenly distributed and agitated by the scraper inside the drum, allowing the material to disperse uniformly and come into full contact with hot air, accelerating the heat and mass transfer in the drying process. During the drying process, under the action of the inclined scraper and the hot gas, the material is discharged as finished product through the star-shaped discharge valve at the other end of the dryer. This machine is suitable for drying various sludge materials with less than 85% moisture content, such as beer dregs, soybean dregs, spray-dried corn skin, coal slurry, fruit渣, etc. It has a good effect on opening up feed resources, reducing breeding costs, and reducing environmental pollution. 1. Overall Efficiency: Also known as average efficiency, it refers to the percentage of dust removed by the dryer within the same time frame compared to the amount of dust entering the dryer. 2. Throughput Rate: The throughput rate is the percentage of dust exiting the dryer compared to the amount entering. A higher throughput rate indicates a greater amount of dust exiting the dryer, suggesting lower drying efficiency. Additionally, when the drying efficiency of the dryer is very high, the difference in dryer performance is more pronounced when measured by throughput rate rather than overall efficiency. 3. Graded Drying Efficiency: Graded drying efficiency is the efficiency of a dryer that is rated by dust particle size or size range, known as graded efficiency. It represents the ratio of the amount of dust collected within a certain particle size range to the total amount of dust entering. The overall drying efficiency of the dryer is greatly related to the particle size of the dust being processed, and even with the same equipment operating under the same conditions, the performance of the dryer can vary significantly due to differences in dust dispersion.

Drying Machine Maintenance:
1. When the drum dryer is not in use, the conveyor belt should be thoroughly cleaned and hoisted to a well-ventilated and dry area. In winter, anti-freezing measures must be taken. If the conveyor belt is left exposed to the air for an extended period, it's important to inspect its functionality and adaptability to prevent equipment weathering.
After a period of continuous operation, there may be a gap between the impeller and the sealing ring in the brown coal dryer, which can greatly reduce the equipment's production efficiency. At this point, we should turn off the power switch, open the dispersing unit of the equipment, remove the sealing ring, and configure the sealing ring according to the actual size of the impeller's mouth ring, maintaining a gap of 0.5mm.
III. Regular inspections should be conducted on the connections of the roller dryer components, with particular attention to the tightness of screws and bolts to prevent loosening or even detachment. At the same time, regular and quantitative lubrication should be applied to all lubrication points to ensure the flexibility of the components and slow down the wear of the parts.
