Product Introduction
Pneumatic flexible cutoff wells are used in sponge city construction, black and odorous water body treatment, intelligent drainage, and other stormwater and wastewater separation projects. They enable automatic switching and separation of rainwater and wastewater within the rainwater pipeline, ensuring that the wastewater at the front end of the rainwater pipeline and a small amount of initial rainwater enter the wastewater pipeline, thus preventing wastewater from flowing into rivers, lakes, and other natural water bodies. This also avoids a large volume of rainwater entering the wastewater pipeline, which reduces the burden on wastewater treatment plants. They not only purify natural water bodies but also save resources for wastewater treatment, making them essential for the improvement and transformation of sponge city construction, black and odorous water body treatment, and the purification of natural water bodies.
Primary Components
The pneumatic flexible cutoff well body is a steel and concrete structure, equipped with pneumatic flexible cutoff devices, water intake grates, sewage lifting units, gas stations, pressure sensors, rainfall gauges, rainproof control cabinets, and an intelligent cloud monitoring platform. The cutoff and rainfall inlets are controlled by pneumatic flexible cutoff devices, ensuring no leakage and a small occupied area. In cases where sewage cannot flow freely, an additional sewage lifting unit is selected, utilizing a coupling mechanism. The valves and pipes are made of 304 stainless steel, making installation and maintenance convenient. To prevent pump blockage by debris, a 304 stainless steel lifting basket grate is installed at the water intake, intercepting large debris. The lifting basket is connected with a special coupling hook, which can be lifted along the guide rod without entering the well for cleaning. The monitoring system uses pressure sensors and rainfall gauges to control the opening of the pneumatic flexible cutoff devices, either by adjusting the device based on rainfall amounts or by monitoring the井下 liquid level with the pressure sensor. This achieves a连锁 control system to ensure the accuracy of monitoring. The control system employs an intelligent cloud platform for remote operation and monitoring, enabling unattended operation and multi-point monitoring.
Working Principle
On sunny days, the stormwater bypass valve is open, while the rainwater bypass valve is closed. Partially polluted water in the pipeline flows naturally through the bypass opening into the sewage pipeline, or is lifted into the sewage pipeline by the sewage lifting device, achieving zero direct discharge of sewage on sunny days.
During rainfall, the initial surface runoff can be quite dirty and may contaminate river water if it enters. By using a rain gauge to determine the rainfall amount or a level sensor to check the well water level, delay the opening of the stormwater air valve and the rainwater air valve to ensure that the dirty initial runoff is directed into the sewage system.
During the later stages of rainfall, the water becomes relatively cleaner. At this point, when the water level in the well is detected to be above the set level by the hydraulic sensor, close the intercepting weir, open the rainwater air valve, and allow the rainwater to drain into the river. When the rainfall stops, the water level in the well decreases. When the water level falls to the set low level, open the intercepting weir air valve and close the rainwater air valve, restoring to the initial state.
The automated system utilizes a professional SCADA system, which may enable the following functions:

(2) Monitor and receive equipment alarm notifications in real-time, promptly gaining insight into equipment failure status and causes.
(3) Allows for remote upload, download, and debugging of PLC programs, eliminating the need for on-site travel, thereby reducing travel expenses.
(4) Ability to save and view historical data for easy tracking of the equipment's historical operational status.
(5) Real-time surveillance is possible via the camera, allowing for constant monitoring of the on-site situation.
