FR-4 Epoxy Boards, also known as Epoxy Glass Fiber Boards or Epoxy Phenolic Laminated Glass Fabric Boards, are made by bonding glass fabric with epoxy resin through heating and pressure processing. They exhibit high mechanical properties at moderate temperatures and stable electrical properties under high humidity. Available in grades with superior density (pure resin - 1.93) and grade A (resin + filler (talc) - 2.2). Heat resistance up to F-grade (155°C), thickness range: 0.1~100mm. Huizhou Lianming New Materials Co., Ltd., Tel: 13352629505. This product boasts high mechanical and dielectric properties, suitable for insulating structural components in motors and electrical equipment, and can be used in damp environments and transformer oil. Application Characteristics: 1. Versatile forms. The system of various resins, hardeners, and modifiers can almost meet the requirements of various applications, ranging from extremely low viscosity to high melting point solids. 2. Easy curing. With a variety of hardeners, the epoxy resin system can cure within a temperature range of 0~180°C. 3. Strong adhesion. The inherent polar hydroxyl groups and ether bonds in the epoxy resin molecular chains provide high adhesion to various materials. The low shrinkage during curing and minimal internal stress contribute to enhanced adhesion strength. 4. Low shrinkage. The curing of the epoxy resin system is achieved through direct addition reactions or the ring-opening polymerization of the epoxide groups in the resin molecules, without the release of water or other volatile by-products. Compared to unsaturated polyester resins and phenolic resins, it shows very low shrinkage (less than 2%) during curing. 5. Mechanical properties. The cured epoxy resin system exhibits excellent mechanical properties.
