As the fan operates, it creates a negative pressure inside the cavity, causing outdoor air to flow over a porous, moist curtain surface, thereby reducing the dry bulb temperature of the air passing through to nearly match the outdoor air's wet bulb temperature. This means the dry bulb temperature at the air cooler's outlet is 5-12℃ (up to 15℃ in arid regions) lower than the outdoor dry bulb temperature. The drier and hotter the air, the greater the temperature difference, and the better the cooling effect. Since air is always drawn from outside into the room (at this point referred to as a positive pressure system), it maintains the freshness of the indoor air. Additionally, as this unit utilizes the principle of evaporation cooling, it has both cooling and humidifying functions (relative humidity up to about 75%), making it suitable for use in textile and knitting workshops. It not only improves cooling and heating conditions but also purifies the air, reduces the rate of needle breakage during the needlework process, and enhances the quality of the needlework products.
