The evaporative cooler is the heat exchanger of the fan coil unit, its performance determines the unit's ability to transfer cooling (or heating) and its impact on airflow. This equipment is generally included in most air conditioning systems.
The air conditioner's finned coil uses a double-bend louver design, ensuring turbulence for effective air heat exchange, greatly enhancing the heat transfer efficiency. The aluminum fins of the finned coil undergo a rigorous three-step cleaning process in the factory: metal cleaner, custom high-quality air conditioner condenser, evaporator, finned heat exchangers ultrasonic cleaning, and water rinse, ensuring no residues on the fins, allowing air to flow more smoothly and fundamentally guaranteeing the reliability of heat exchange.
The function of the evaporative cooler:
Utilize refrigerant to absorb heat within the surface cooler, gradually lowering the temperature of the cooled space.
Air-cooled water coil in air handling units cools the air passing over the heat exchanger fins by circulating chilled water (refrigerant water) inside. The fan then distributes the cooled air to the occupied space. The chilled water, carrying the absorbed heat, returns to the refrigeration unit through the return pipe of the coil, releases the heat, cools down, and then returns to the coil to absorb heat and cool the passing air, continuously circulating.
A finned air-to-water heat exchanger with chilled water as the medium is generally referred to as an evaporative cooler, commonly using Ф16 copper tubes (with a pitch of 38 and a row spacing of 33). In recent years, evaporative coolers with Ф12.7 copper tubes (a pitch of 31.75 and a row spacing of 27.5) have also gained widespread application.
The brazed plate heat exchangers are manufactured using mechanical expansion technology, ensuring optimal heat exchange performance.
The condenser header material can be galvanized pipe, copper pipe, or stainless steel pipe; the condenser fins can be plain aluminum foil or hydrophilic aluminum foil; the condenser end guard can be galvanized plate or stainless steel plate.
Qinjiang Company can calculate and design plate heat exchangers based on the provided air volume, intake conditions, external dimensions, chilled water intake temperature, cooling capacity (or outlet air conditions requirements), and assume the responsibility for the thermal performance indicators of the heat exchangers.
