Categories

Copper scrap covers a wide range, including brass, bronze, white copper, and their waste materials. Among them, the waste of copper and brass is abundant, such as old cables, copper pipes, copper tubes, rods, plates, blocks, and strips. According to the convenience of recyclable processing, they can be divided into 5 types.

Category 1:

(a) Copper tubes, rods, plates, blocks, and strips, with clean surfaces, free of oil, mud, and other adhesives or impurities.

(b) Various bare copper wires, short wires, and other pure copper scrap.

Category 2:

(a) If the copper scrap contains paper shreds, various insulating materials, a small amount of sludge, rust, and debris, but the total mass does not exceed 1%.

(b) Wire with a diameter of 0.3mm or more should be free of dirt and debris.

Category 3: Various scrapped pure copper electrical switches and components with thin galvanized coatings.

Category 4:

(a) Wire with a diameter of 0.1~0.3mm

(c) Painted wire with oil mud or a small amount of other impurities.
