Categories

Copper scrap covers a wide range, including scrap materials of purple copper, brass, bronze, and white copper, with a significant amount of purple mixed copper scrap, such as old cables, copper pipes, purple copper pipes, rods, plates, blocks, and strips. Based on the convenience of recycling and processing, they can be divided into 5 types.

Category 1:

(a) Copper tubes, rods, sheets, blocks, and strips, with clean surfaces, free of oil mud and other adhesives or impurities.

(b) Various bare copper wires, short wires, and other pure copper scrap.

Category 2:

(a) If the copper scrap is mixed with paper shreds, various insulating materials, a small amount of sludge, rust, and debris, the total content of these impurities does not exceed 1%.

(b) Wire coated with paint, diameter over 0.3mm, free of dirt and foreign matter.

Category 3: Various scrapped pure copper electrical switches, components, with or with a thin galvanized coating.

Category 4:

(a) Wire with a diameter of 0.1~0.3mm.

(c) Painted wire with oil sludge or minor impurities.

Category 5: Various pure copper water tanks, evaporators, and heat exchangers; however, no filling materials are allowed inside, only a small amount of naturally formed scale is permitted.
