Screw conveyor system
Screw conveyor assembly consists of a motor, connecting rod, scraper, roller, etc. It features a simple structure, easy installation and maintenance, safety and reliability, long service life, and low maintenance costs. During operation, the cylinder drives the scraper component, and the scraper pushes the abrasive forward by one cylinder stroke under the action of the stopper. When the scraper returns to its original position, it automatically flips up without carrying back the abrasive. It improves conveying efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
Screw conveyors are intermittent conveying mechanisms known for their reliable operation, low noise levels, and simple maintenance. They utilize elastic, wear-resistant scraper blades installed at equal intervals, typically ranging from 200 to 500mm apart. The propulsion mechanism, which advances the scraper blades, employs either a mechanical reciprocating mechanism or an air-driven motion system. The reciprocating stroke is greater than 200 to 500mm, allowing the sequential feeding of circulating materials into the next stage of the circulation system.
Scraper manual operation process and methods
2.1 Turn on lighting, open the main gate.
2.2 Remove the trolley from the sandblasting room and install the workpiece.
2.3 The trolley enters the sandblasting room and the door is closed.
2.4 Check the equipment and environmental conditions, and the dust removal and recycling systems can be started when normal.
2.5 Sandblasting operators enter the room and put on the sandblasting protective suits and connect the breathing filter.
2.6 Start the sandblasting machine; workers manually sandblast the workpieces.
2.7 Clean or Sweep
Open the door.
2.9 Vehicles exit the sandblasting room, unload the workpieces.
Scraper Customization Requirements
Based on customer requirements and part dimensions, the housing working dimensions are designed as 18x6x6.5m. This sandblasting housing uses 100mm square tubes for the basic frame, with 50mm square tubes for internal support. It is lined with 2mm steel plates and 3mm rubber plates internally, and the outer walls are made of 50mm thick color steel sandwich panels, offering aesthetic appearance, easy installation, and corrosion resistance. The core of the color steel sandwich panels is expanded polystyrene foam. Compared to sandblasting housing bodies made with pure steel plates, it has the following features:
(1) The housing is highly resistant to corrosion, weathering, and water, allowing for outdoor placement: If the sandblasting housing is used outdoors, simply setting up a simple rain shelter is sufficient; there is no need for additional factory construction, thereby reducing infrastructure costs significantly; (2) Excellent sound insulation and thermal insulation properties:
Due to the sandwich color steel panels used in the sandblasting cabinet construction, with polyethylene foam as the core material, it boasts excellent insulation properties. It can reduce the high-frequency sharp noise generated during sandblasting, from 1500Hz to 2000Hz, to below 500Hz, significantly improving the noise environment.
(3) Sleek and aesthetically pleasing design:
Utilizing a color steel panel structure, the sandblasting room body can be formed in one go, featuring a simple and smooth appearance, and is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. No additional surface treatment or interior decoration is required.
(4) Easy migration and transformation:
The entire body of the sandblasting room is designed in a modular style. Due to the inherent characteristics of the color steel plates, they are lightweight, easy to cut, and can be assembled and disassembled. There's no foundation required, allowing for easy movement and expansion of units. This makes it particularly suitable for disassembly, relocation, and secondary use when necessary.
