I. Applicable Scope
The LSMB series high-strength enclosed busway is suitable for power transmission and distribution systems with rated voltages below 1000V, rated working currents of 250 to 5000A, and frequencies of 50 to 60Hz.
II. Structural Performance
1. Compact in size and structure, the casing is made of cold-rolled thin steel, formed into corrugated wave structures through a single cold rolling process. The assembled structure forms a high-strength tubular shape, significantly enhancing the busbar system's strength (with a 70kg force applied at the center of a 6m straight line, deflection is less than 15mm). The busbar conductors are also fixed throughout the casing's corrugated grooves, further improving the system's dynamic and thermal stability. This solution addresses the challenge of large-span installation at construction sites.
2. Superior heat dissipation, high current carrying capacity, and high short-circuit current resistance. The corrugated cover has a large unfolded area, offering excellent "fin" effect. Each busbar is directly and tightly attached to the housing, facilitating direct heat dissipation and uniform cooling between phases.
3. Configurable for three-phase four-wire (lid with four corrugated slots) or three-phase five-wire (lid with five corrugated slots). The five-wire system housing is distinctive, featuring unique PE slots that allow the PE wire to be directly clipped into the busbar housing, ensuring direct electrical connection between PE and the housing, thereby maximizing safety for the operator.
4. Standard configuration single-arm locking shock absorber connector. Reliable and easy to connect.
5. The power feed socket can be conveniently set up on both top and bottom surfaces without reducing its bending strength. The safety protection level of the power feed socket reaches IP54 (compliant with IEC 529 standard). Each socket set is equipped with a special opening and locking mechanism to prevent dirt, dust, and incorrect operation, made of ABS engineering plastic.
Section 3: Insulation Configuration
1. Unique structural design allows the busbar to phase-separate and be fixed within the corrugated shell of the insulation medium, granting the busbar system dual insulation of medium insulation and air insulation. It combines the advantages of both air-insulated and dense-insulated busbars.
2. Busbar insulation uses polyester film (DuPont Mylar) as the insulating material, which boasts excellent high-temperature resistance (no toxic gases released at high temperatures) and high dielectric properties, with an insulation grade of "B". Alternatively, the "Plastic King" material, tetrafluoroethylene定向 film (SFM-3), can be used. This material has an extremely high temperature resistance range (-180°C to +250°C), withstands a single-layer voltage of 6000V, and has an insulation grade of "C". It also offers an insulation aging life of over 50 years, making it a top-performing product among current practical insulating materials.
3. The busbars are placed behind the packaging insulation material, and U-shaped rubber pads are used for cushioning and protection where they contact the top and bottom covers. This prevents vibrational wear of the busbar insulation material due to long-term rigid contact between the insulation material and the housing. The material is an elastic PVC, which can withstand high temperatures up to 130°C for extended periods and meets the national B-grade insulation standards.
4. Key Technical Parameters
1. Utilizes a high-strength sealed structural design, with general protection level of IP40, and can reach IP54 upon special requests.
2. The busbar system can withstand a working frequency withstand voltage of 3750V, with no breakdown or flashover occurring for 1 minute.
3. The busbar system, when operating under rated current for an extended period, its temperature rise does not exceed: at the connection terminals: 60K, on the metal housing: 30K, on the surface of the insulating components within the slots: 40K.
