Fluorine-lined valves, also known as corrosion-resistant valves with fluoroplastic lining, involve placing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin (or processed extrusions) inside the inner wall of steel or iron valve pressure parts, or on the outer surface of valve internal parts, using compression (or inlay) methods. This process, which is also applicable to the linings of various pressure vessels and pipeline accessories, takes advantage of the unique resistance to strong corrosive media of the PTFE to manufacture a variety of valves and pressure vessels.
