
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) sand lined pipes are manufactured using a mechanical winding process. They are composed of a resin matrix with glass fibers wound layer by layer around a rotating mandrel according to the process requirements. Quartz sand is evenly laid between the fibers as the sand lining.
