Heat Shrink Tape Installation Method:
The heat shrinkable tape with a connector end softens the hot melt adhesive; install it at the 12 o'clock position, and secure a strip of adhesive along the base material to the steel pipe. Then, expand the heat shrinkable tape along the axis, heat the other end's hot melt adhesive to soften it, and overlap it onto the tape using the connector. Flatten it with a roller.
Soften the adhesive surface of the fixed sheet, quickly place it face down over the seam, evenly pressing it from front to back and side to side. Bake the inner adhesive surface to firmly bond it to the base material, then flatten it with a roller.
Shrinkage and tempering
Heating evenly along the circumference from the center, causing the middle section to contract first, then heating evenly to both sides, and gradually heating from the bottom to the top of the tube to uniformly contract the heat shrinkable tape.
After the heat shrinkable tape has fully contracted, uniformly temper the entire tape for about 3-5 minutes, maintaining a surface temperature of 120-140°C, and check the melting condition of the inner heat-sensitive adhesive using finger pressure to ensure complete melting of the inner adhesive.
