Epoxy floor paint was invented in Germany as early as 1934, primarily composed of oils, resins, pigments, solvents, etc., and is mainly categorized into decorative floor paint, heavy-duty corrosion-resistant floor paint, and heavy-load-resistant floor paint, among others. It is manufactured through a series of production processes, including mixing, dissolving, and dispersing various substances. Epoxy floor paint features brightness, authenticity, beauty, wear resistance, waterproofing, and corrosion resistance.

The self-leveling property mentioned in floor paint mainly refers to the topcoat, with the primer and intermediate coat being the same as other types of flooring. The quality of the self-leveling topcoat is crucial for the aesthetic and performance of epoxy self-leveling flooring. The application of the self-leveling topcoat primarily involves troweling, gently using the notched side of the trowel to drive the self-leveling paint, creating momentum, and then allowing the paint to self-level. During the application process, temperature, method, and technique directly affect the outcome of the epoxy self-leveling flooring.
