Transformer Recovery: Installation Steps for Transformers
Before transformer hoisting, the transformer foundation, foundation tracks, or pre-buried steel plates should be inspected and approved. For overhead-mounted transformers, the overhead transformer platform should be inspected and approved to ensure the strength, geometric dimensions, coordinates, and heights of the transformer foundation or platform meet design and construction specifications. Generally, the transformer foundation tracks or pre-buried steel plates should be level and parallel. The transformer wheel gauge should match the track gauge, with the center aligned, allowing no deviation greater than 10mm. For transformers equipped with gas relays, there should be a 1% to 1.5% slope along the gas relay flow direction on the transformer top cover. When transformers use solid busbars to connect directly to the household, the centerline of the transformer foundation should align with the center of the wall partition; when connected to the busbars, the center of the busbars should align with the center of the transformer foundation. For transformers with rolling wheels, the wheels should rotate freely, and they should be securely fastened in place after the transformer is positioned.
When hoisting transformers, the wire ropes should be hung at the positions indicated in the manufacturer's manual to prevent damaging the transformer's casing or components. During transformer hoisting, it is crucial to lift and place it gently.
Transformer alignment is achieved using a level and plumb bob, ensuring compliance with design and specification requirements. Once the transformer is properly aligned, it should be securely fastened promptly.
Attachments that are directly connected to the fuel tank must be thoroughly cleaned and securely installed. The joints must be sealed without any oil leakage. After installation, the tank should be pressure tested with transformer oil at 70kPa for 30 minutes; no leakage indicates a pass. When refueling the transformer oil tank, the oil grade must meet the design specifications and be laboratory-certified. Ensure the oil quantity is adequate.
