Transformer Recovery: Transformer Installation Steps
Prior to transformer hoisting, inspect and approve the transformer foundation, foundation tracks, or pre-buried steel plates. For overhead transformers, inspect and approve the overhead transformer pedestal to ensure the strength, geometric dimensions, coordinates, and heights of the transformer foundation or pedestal meet design and construction specifications. Generally, the transformer foundation tracks or pre-buried steel plates should be level and parallel. The transformer wheel spacing should match the track gauge, with the center aligned, allowing no deviation greater than 10mm. Transformers equipped with gas relays should have a 1% to 1.5% slope along the gas relay flow direction on the transformer top cover. When transformers use solid busbars for direct connection to the service entrance, the centerline of the transformer foundation should align with the center of the wall partition; when connected to the busbars, the center of the busbars should align with the center of the transformer foundation. Transformers with rolling wheels should have wheels that can rotate freely and should be securely locked in place after positioning.
When lifting transformers, the wire ropes should be hung at the positions indicated in the manufacturer's instructions to prevent damage to the transformer casing or components. Lifting and placing transformers should be done gently.
Level and plumb the transformer position with a level and plumb bob to ensure compliance with design and specification requirements. Once the transformer is properly aligned, secure it promptly.
Attachments that directly connect to the fuel tank must be thoroughly cleaned and securely installed. The connection points must be sealed with no leakage. After installation, a pressure test with transformer oil at 70kPa for 30 minutes is required to ensure no leaks. When refilling the transformer oil tank, the oil number must meet the design specifications, be chemically tested and deemed合格, and the oil quantity must be sufficient.
