2PE Anti-corrosion Steel Pipe
Two-layer PE anti-corrosion structure, one layer of adhesive (AD), two layers of polyethylene (PE), the two materials integrated as one, with each layer's thickness equal to that of three-layer PE.
Standard: SY/T0413-2002 Technical Standard for Polyethylene Coating on Buried Steel Pipeline
GB/T 23257-2009 Technical Standard for Polyethylene Coating on Buried Steel Pipe
2PE Corrosion Protection (Two-Layer Polyethylene) Pipe - Two-Layer PE Corrosion Protection Structure, One Layer of Adhesive (AD), Two Layers of Polyethylene (PE), the Two Materials Merged into One, Each Layer's Thickness Equivalent to Three-Layer PE.
It's evident that the difference lies in the additional epoxy powder layer in 3PE corrosion protection. This layer boasts excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and strong cathodic disbondment resistance. Although it has the advantages of strict surface treatment, poor weather resistance, and higher water absorption rate, it is suitable for buried pipelines and submarine pipelines, with a coating thickness of only 0.3 to 0.5 millimeters, and a service life of up to 40 to 50 years.
