Fused silicon micro powder significantly enhances compressive, flexural, impermeability, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and wear resistance; it also retains water, prevents segregation and bleeding, and greatly reduces concrete pumpability. It notably extends the service life of concrete, especially in harsh environments such as chloride and sulfate侵蚀, high humidity, etc., doubling or even multiplying its durability. It drastically reduces the amount of fallen ash in shotcrete and cast-in-place materials, increasing the thickness of a single application layer. It is an essential component of high-strength concrete, offering about five times the effectiveness of cement. Its use in regular concrete and low-cement castables can reduce costs and improve durability. It effectively prevents concrete alkali-aggregate reaction and enhances the densification of castable refractory materials.
