Product Name: 303 Stainless Steel
Standard: GB/T 1220
303 stainless steel is an austenitic type of easy-to-cut, wear-resistant, and acid-resistant steel. To enhance the properties of this steel, up to 0.60% molybdenum can be added, making it resistant to ablation.
After annealing and stress relief, the mechanical properties of 303 stainless steel are: tensile strength 515MPa, yield strength 205MPa, elongation 40%. The standard hardness of stainless steel 303 is HRB 90-100, HRC 20-25, note: HRB100 = HRC22.9.
303 is a free-cutting stainless steel containing sulfur and selenium, used primarily in applications that require good free-cutting properties and high surface finish. The 303 stainless steel enhances cutting performance and resistance to high-temperature galling. *It is suitable for automatic lathes, bolts, and nuts.
