The GSTM Vertical Back and Forth Slotting Machine is a professional slotting machine suitable for all metal sheets, including stainless steel, copper, aluminum, galvanized steel, etc. Slotting is an auxiliary process in bending and forming sheets, where a special machine tool is used to cut V-shaped slots at the bending curves of the sheets. This makes the material easy to bend and form, with the radius outside the bending angle achieving an extremely small size. The sheets are then bent using a bending machine or manually to achieve the product's appearance requirements. The depth, width, and angle of the V-shaped slots can be guaranteed by the feed amount and the shape of the slotting blade during the cutting process.

The GSTM slotting machine is designed with a framework structure, featuring a worktable made of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, which ensures excellent overall rigidity and durability. The worktable is constructed with a monolithic bottom film for a single molding process, leaving no marks on mirror-like materials after processing. It is manufactured strictly according to machine tool processing techniques, utilizing electric furnace tempering to eliminate welding stress and reduce equipment deformation. The paint finish is guaranteed to be excellent through sandblasting treatment. The machine frame is processed in one setup on an imported CNC 5-axis machining center, ensuring parallelism and perpendicularity of all mounting surfaces.
GSTM slotting machine workpieces are fixed using a hydraulic clamping system with flexible clamping and unload devices: featuring a high-precision guiding system, position measuring system, and hydraulic balancing function to minimize damage to the workpiece surface. The hydraulic clamping is adjustable, ensuring reliable pressure. The hydraulic system is equipped with an accumulator for compensation. The motor operates in an intermittent manner, saving energy and controlling oil temperature.
The GSTM slotting machine uses 6 blades to process "V" slots, ensuring even cutting volume distribution and reducing deformation of the workpiece. Optional micro-cooling systems can extend tool life and lower production costs; the universal tool holder face can accommodate various tool mounting requirements, allowing for interchangeable white steel and alloy blades; the tool holder's shifting mechanism employs heavy-duty linear guides, resulting in high precision.
The beam of the GSTM series slotting machine is fixed, and the workpiece is fed from the rear feeding mechanism. The worktable is made of carbon tool steel and undergoes high-frequency surface quenching, achieving a hardness of 55-60HRC (common tables <30HRC). This ensures the worktable hardness is significantly greater than stainless steel, eliminating the issue of groove marks on the worktable surface in traditional models. It guarantees the flatness of the worktable surface is ≤±0.03mm, completely resolving the problem of reduced V-groove accuracy due to worktable deformation, and extends the lifespan of the equipment.
