The GSFM Horizontal High-Speed Grooving Machine is a professional grooving equipment suitable for all metal sheets, including stainless steel, copper, aluminum, galvanized steel, etc. Grooving is an auxiliary process for bending and forming sheet metal. It involves using special machine tools to cut V-shaped grooves at the bending curves of the sheets, making the material easier to bend and form while minimizing the outer radius of the bend. The sheets are then bent using a bending machine or manual bending to achieve the desired product appearance. The depth, width, and angle of the V-groove can be ensured by the feed rate and shape of the cutting tool during the grooving process.

The GSFM slotter's base (a) and beam (c) are both designed with a framework structure. The worktable is made of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, ensuring the machine tool has excellent overall rigidity and durability. It is manufactured strictly according to machine tool processing techniques, utilizing electric furnace tempering to eliminate welding stress and reduce equipment deformation. The paint finish is guaranteed to be excellent through shot blasting treatment. The frame is machined in one setup on an imported CNC 5-axis machining center, ensuring the parallelism and perpendicularity of all mounting surfaces.
The GSFM slotting machine workpieces are fixed with a hydraulic clamping system, featuring flexible clamping and unloading devices: a high-precision guidance system, position measuring system, and hydraulic balancing function to meet the need for unmarked workpiece surfaces as much as possible. The hydraulic clamping is adjustable, reliable, and the hydraulic system is supplemented with an accumulator for compensation. The motor operates in an intermittent manner to save energy and control oil temperature.
The GSFM Grooving Machine Tool Holder (b) processes "V" grooves with three blades, ensuring even cutting volume distribution and reducing deformation of the workpiece. Additionally, it can be optionally equipped with a micro-cooling system to extend tool life and lower production costs; the universal tool holder mounting surface meets various tool clamping requirements, allowing interchangeability between stainless steel and alloy blades; the tool holder transfer mechanism utilizes ground ball screws and heavy-duty linear guides for high precision.
The GSFM slotting machine features a 5-axis CNC system with 5 independent servo motors driving it. The tool holder is equipped with an automatic rotation system, allowing for one-time forming of four-sided slots on sheets. This eliminates the need for manual turning and movement of the workpiece, significantly enhancing dimensional accuracy, reducing labor costs, saving time, and improving production efficiency.
