Smart Online Density Meters (also known as online density transmitters) are devices used for continuous on-line measurement of liquid concentration and density, suitable for direct application in industrial production processes. The meters utilize advanced technology, including a high-precision differential pressure sensor and a pair of pressure relays connected to or inserted into the production process. Between the two pressure relays is a temperature sensor, used to compensate for changes in the process liquid's temperature. The on-line density meters generate corresponding 4-20mA signals based on the concentration and density levels, allowing for remote calibration and monitoring via digital communication.

Operating PrincipleThe Intelligent Online Density Meter is essentially a differential pressure transmitter. Its working principle is that the pressure exerted by a liquid column of a certain height is directly proportional to the density of the liquid.

P—— The density of the liquid
g—— Measurement of Earth's gravitational acceleration
H—— Manometer height
Based on the pressure values measured by a precision pressure gauge, under the condition that the gravitational acceleration at the measurement location (fixed coefficient) and the height of the liquid column are known, the density of the measured liquid can be obtained.
