The SGD series wet electrostatic precipitator effectively removes liquid or solid particles with diameters ranging from 0.1 to 20 micrometers from the gas stream, while also removing some gaseous pollutants. It features a simple structure, small footprint, ease of operation and maintenance, and purification capabilities, enabling it to handle high-temperature and high-humidity gas streams, minimizing the risk of ignition and explosion. However, special attention must be given to equipment and pipeline corrosion, as well as the treatment of wastewater and sludge when using wet electrostatic precipitator equipment. The wet dust removal process is also not conducive to the recovery of by-products. If the equipment is installed indoors, consideration must also be given to the potential freezing of the equipment during winter. Furthermore, if a higher efficiency in removing fine particles is required, the dispersion of the liquid phase must be achieved, but this will increase energy consumption.
