Fire-resistant glass is a special type of glass that maintains its integrity during prescribed fire resistance tests and is categorized into three types based on product variety:
Fire-resistant glass
Fire-resistant glass
Category A
Fire-resistant glass that meets both integrity and insulation requirements. Includes two types: composite fire-resistant glass and poured fire-resistant glass. This glass offers transparency, fire resistance (smoke, fire, and heat radiation blocking), sound insulation, and impact resistance. It is suitable for decorative steel and wood fire doors and windows, skylights, partition walls, smoke shafts,透视地板, and other architectural components that require both transparency and fire resistance.
Category B
Fire-resistant glass that meets both integrity and thermal radiation intensity requirements. This type of fire-resistant glass is typically composite and features transparency, fire resistance, and smoke control properties.
Category C
Single-paned fire-resistant glass that meets integrity requirements only. This type of glass features light transmission, fire resistance, smoke separation, and high strength. Suitable for fire-rated partition walls, fire doors, and outdoor curtain walls without thermal insulation requirements.
Folding by structural style
Divided into fire-resistant laminated glass, thin-coated fire-resistant glass, single fire-resistant glass, and fire-resistant wired glass. Among them, fire-resistant laminated glass can be further categorized into composite fire-resistant glass and灌浆 fire-resistant glass based on the characteristics of the production process.
