Oxygen Saturation Measurement Basics

· When measuring dissolved oxygen in the lab, the solution being tested must be stirred at a constant speed; for outdoor measurements, the water body must have a certain flow rate to ensure the rate of dissolved oxygen passing through the electrode membrane.

· The solution must not generate an electromagnetic field that interferes with measurement signals during stirring or flow, to prevent instability in measurement data.

· Oxygen sensors require a certain polarization time before calibration and measurement.

· When maintaining the oxygen electrode, it is essential to first turn off the main power of the unit, then remove the electrode for maintenance.
