The Thermo Scientific Orion Star A211 Desktop pH Meter is an easy-to-use, reliable laboratory meter with advanced features and functions. Optional reading modes and stability indicators provide flexibility and control for your measurements. All critical data, including temperature, date and time, reading type, measurement stability, active calibration information, and electrode status icons, are displayed along with your measurement results. The screen displays calibration and setting instructions in multiple local languages, and new languages can be added through software updates.
The comprehensive keyboard, featuring specific menu function keys, dual-purpose scroll/shortcut keys, additional power and measurement keys, record view keys, and blender keys, ensures simple operation and quick navigation. All settings menus are centralized, allowing direct access via individual shortcut keys for rapid retrieval, assessment, and modification of measurement and instrument settings.
Can measure pH value, mV, relative mV, ORP, and temperature
Utilize the automatic buffer identification feature of NIST or DIN buffer sets to perform up to 5-point pH calibration, with the option to manually input custom buffer values.
Calibration editing options support single-point adjustments without the need for complete recalibration.
A well-informed, easy-to-read backlit image display screen, along with clear screen indicators, simplifies operation.
Obtain crucial readings through the stability indicator and optional reading modes — automatic readings maintain stability, continuous readings combined with the hold option display reading changes, and timed readings record data at specific time intervals.
If using a stirrer probe controlled by a meter (Part No. 096019) to mix the solution, a magnetic stir bar is not required.
