The Thermo Scientific Orion Star A212 Conductivity Meter is an easy-to-use, reliable laboratory instrument featuring advanced features and functionalities. Optional reading modes and stability indicators provide flexibility and control for your measurements. All important data and measurement results are displayed together, including: temperature, date and time, reading type, measurement stability, and activity calibration information. The screen calibration and setting indicators can be displayed in multiple local languages and new languages can be added through software updates.
An integrated keyboard featuring specific menu function keys, dual-purpose scroll/shortcut keys, an additional power key, a measurement key, a record view key, and a stirrer key makes the operation simple and quick, allowing for effortless navigation. All settings menus are located in one place, accessible via dedicated shortcut keys for quick retrieval, evaluation, and adjustment of measurement and instrument settings.
Measure conductivity, TDS, salinity, or resistivity and temperature
Calibration editor options support single-point corrections without recalibrating the entire system, allowing for up to 5 points of conductivity calibration.
The automatic setting function for conductivity value measurement range supports continuous readings over the entire measurement range, without the need for recalibration.
Utilize linear, nonlinear, EP (USP), or turn off conductivity temperature compensation (reference temperatures: 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25°C)
A well-informed, easy-to-read backlit image display screen, along with clear screen indicators, simplifies operation.
Obtain critical readings through stability indicators and optional reading modes — automatic readings maintain reading stability, continuous readings combined with the hold option can display reading changes, and timed readings can record data at specific time intervals.
If using a stirrer probe controlled by a meter (part number 096019) to mix the solution, a magnetic stir bar is not required.
Data logging and date/time tagging can be performed for up to 2,000 measurement sets, along with optional sample and user IDs.
