The main components of the wastewater treatment pond include sedimentation tanks, oxidation tanks, regulating tanks, and sludge tanks. The sludge primarily consists of hawthorn, settled sludge, and biological sludge. Timely sludge removal is a crucial task in the operation and management of wastewater treatment ponds. The sedimentation tank in the treatment process contains a significant amount of sludge, most of which is harmful. If sludge is not removed promptly, anaerobic fermentation can occur, causing sludge to float to the surface, disrupting the normal operation of the sedimentation tank and deteriorating the water quality. The initial sediment also contains pathogens and heavy metal compounds. When pumping wastewater is incomplete, the pond should be stopped (emptied) and manually flushed to remove sludge. For sedimentation tanks with mechanical sludge removal, it is essential to strengthen the maintenance and management of the sludge removal equipment. In case of a mechanical failure, repairs should be made promptly to avoid excessive sludge buildup at the bottom, which can affect the water quality of the effluent.

1. Close the sewage pool inlet valve, cut off the water source, address temporary drainage issues during construction, and affix signage.
2. The sewage pool is an enclosed space. For safety reasons, we have pre-arranged ventilation measures to ensure safety.
3. Drain the wastewater from the sump.
4. Dilute sludge. Use a high-pressure pump to dilute the sludge. Clean the sediment and debris at the bottom of the pool.
5. Fill with clean water for rinsing and promptly drain until clean.
6. Prior to sludge dilution, use a sludge suction truck to flush repeatedly. Once the sludge is diluted, activate the sludge extraction equipment, and suction the sludge through pipes into a prepared slurry truck for removal. Prevent secondary environmental pollution.
7. Resume use of the wastewater pond and inspect related equipment and valves for proper operation.

One, Construction Section Division: Due to the large area of the sewage pool, it is divided into 3 sections for cleaning according to the project requirements for sewage pool cleaning. The sewage in the pool is pumped out by suction trucks and transported to the wastewater treatment plant for proper treatment. All the sludge at the bottom is transported and disposed of for landfilling.
Two, Environmental Sanitation on-site Cleaning: In accordance with relevant regulations concerning dust control, to ensure that during the cleaning of the wastewater pond, no dust is brought to the factory area. A new dirt road has been opened up in the open space of the factory, bypassing the production workshops, and is supervised by a dedicated person.
III. Safety Measures: Set up within the construction area of the sewage pool cleaning, with a dedicated person on guard to prevent factory personnel from entering the construction site and encountering accidents.

1. Physical Methods: Common methods we use in our daily life for cleaning septic tanks include gravity separation, centrifugal separation, reverse osmosis, and air flotation, etc. Physical treatment methods are simple and cost-effective, suitable for rural areas with large water capacities, strong self-purification abilities, and low requirements for wastewater treatment. This physical method primarily utilizes physical actions to separate the non-soluble substances in wastewater, without altering their chemical properties during the process.
2. Biological Method: This method utilizes the metabolic functions of microorganisms to decompose and oxidize harmful substances dissolved or colloidal in wastewater into stable inorganic substances, thereby achieving the purpose of wastewater purification. The treatment level of the biological method is superior to that of the physical method.
3. Chemical Treatment: Common methods include coagulation, neutralization, oxidation-reduction, and ion exchange, etc. As the name suggests, these methods utilize chemical reactions to treat or recover dissolved or colloidal substances in wastewater. Such chemical treatment is predominantly used for industrial wastewater. While chemical treatment offers effective results, it is costly and often serves as a further treatment stage after biochemical treatment to enhance the quality of the effluent.
Currently, China's resource utilization of wastewater is still in the initial stage, with insufficient and unbalanced development, overall utilization levels are not high, and there is still a considerable gap from the requirements of building a beautiful China. Additionally, there are issues such as incomplete standards, imperfect policies, and the need for further improvement in technological equipment levels.
