Product Overview
High strength and excellent machinability
2017 aluminum sheets are 2-series alloys, widely used in industrial applications, known for their high strength and good machinability, although they have poor corrosion resistance. The characteristics of 2-series aluminum sheets include high hardness, with a high copper content of approximately 3-5%. Both the 1 and 2 series aluminum sheets are classified as aviation alloys, but are not commonly used in conventional industries. Currently, there are fewer manufacturers producing 2-series aluminum sheets in China, and their quality is not yet comparable to that of foreign counterparts. With the development of China's aerospace industry, the production technology of 2-series aluminum sheets will continue to improve.

2017 is commonly used for rivets, general mechanical parts, aircraft, ships, transportation, building structural components, vehicle structural parts, propeller components and accessories, etc.
