Sus630 Grinding Rod

Delivery Status
Delivered in heat-treated condition unless specified otherwise in the contract; if not specified, goods will be delivered in non-heat-treated condition.
SUS630 alloy is a precipitation-hardened, water quenched, martensitic stainless steel, characterized by high strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the product boasts excellent mechanical properties, achieving a tensile strength of up to 1100-1300 MPa (160-190 ksi). This grade is not suitable for temperatures above 300°C (570°F) or at low temperatures. It exhibits good corrosion resistance against atmospheric conditions and diluted acids or salts, with its corrosion resistance comparable to that of 304 and 430 grades.

Heat treatment methods for SUS630 stainless steel bars
Due to the expected change in the physical properties of the metal, stainless steel is heated and cooled. In this regard, we should note that heat treatment can improve the microstructure of stainless steel. The heat treatment process has been used to treat the toughness, hardness, and wear resistance of stainless steel.
Furthermore, for a company focusing on a key aspect, when it comes to heat treatment, we actually include operations such as hardening, tempering, and a series of processes like annealing and surface hardening.
On stainless steel rods, the fact to note is that the metal should be uniformly heated to the appropriate temperature during the hardening process, followed by the actual quick immersion in water or oil quenching, or it can also be frozen or cooled in an air-cooled area, thereby achieving the desired hardness of the metal.
