Alloy20 (0Cr20Ni35Mo3Cu3Nb/NS143) is an iron-nickel based corrosion-resistant alloy developed in 1963 from the high-nickel austenitic stainless steel - 0Cr20Ni28Mo3Cu3Nb (Carpenter 20Cb). Composed of elements such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper, and iron. It is used in various industries including chemicals, petrochemicals, food processing, pulp and paper, electronics, and aerospace.

Alloy 20 alloy boasts excellent corrosion resistance, performing well in numerous acidic environments. It can be used in high concentrations of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and other strong acids. Additionally, it can be utilized in strong alkaline media such as chlorides and ammonia. Beyond its corrosion resistance in acidic and alkaline mediums, Alloy 20 can also withstand corrosion at high temperatures, broadening its applications in high-temperature environments.
Additionally, Alloy 20 boasts excellent mechanical properties, such as high strength and good creep resistance. These properties make it particularly important in the manufacturing of various chemical equipment.
