The Ultrasonic Cell Disruption Instrument (pulverizer) is a multifunctional and versatile device that uses strong ultrasound to generate cavitation effects in liquids for ultrasonic processing of materials. It is capable of breaking down various animal and plant cells, as well as viral cells. It can also be used for emulsification, separation, homogenization, extraction, defoaming, cleaning, and accelerating chemical reactions, among others.
