The pneumatic cross-current flue gas purification tower equipment is a brand-new wet-type environmental protection flue gas purification unit developed to address conditions that dry dust removal equipment, such as those for sticky dust, oily dust, industrial waste gas pretreatment, and fibrous dust, cannot handle. Under the action of centrifugal force, the dust-containing gas and paint mist exhibit lateral centripetal motion, resulting in a longer residence time for the dust-containing gas and enhanced washing effect. This improves the dust removal and the issue of easily clogged swirl plates in certain specific operating conditions of the spray tower.

Dust-laden exhaust gases are introduced into the purification tower through a duct, where they speed up as they pass through the rotating washing drum. The wind carries the packing balls, causing them to rotate. Inside the drum, the dust-laden exhaust gases are thoroughly mixed and washed with water mist, undergoing neutralization reactions (water is sometimes added). After purification, the exhaust gases pass through a dehumidification layer to remove moisture before being discharged into the atmosphere by a fan or fed into other purification equipment (UV photo-oxygen catalysis, low-temperature plasma, etc.). The liquid is then pressurized by a pump at the bottom of the tower and sprayed into the drum at the top, where it becomes misted and returns to the bottom for recirculation. The purified exhaust gases meet national emission standards.

This equipment purifies waste gas through filling material mist rotation, suitable for continuous and intermittent emissions treatment. The process is simple, management, operation, and maintenance are quite convenient and straightforward, causing no impact on the workshop's production. It is highly versatile, capable of purifying multiple pollutants simultaneously, has low pressure drop, wide operational flexibility, and excellent defogging performance. The housing is made of 201 or 304 stainless steel or higher-grade materials for durability, and the filling material, low-resistance Pall rings, can remove odors and harmful substances from the gas.
