The RTO waste gas treatment system is an efficient organic waste gas treatment equipment with a high thermal efficiency of ***(≥95%**), low operation costs, and the ability to handle large volumes of low-concentration waste gas. When the concentration is slightly higher, it can also recover secondary waste heat, significantly reducing production and operation costs. The thermal oxidation method can be divided into three types: thermal combustion, heat exchanger, and regenerative. The main difference between them lies in the heat recovery method. All three methods can be combined with catalytic methods to lower the reaction temperature.
Technical Principle
The principle involves oxidizing combustible exhaust gases into corresponding oxides and water at high temperatures, thereby purifying the exhaust and recovering the heat released during the decomposition of the exhaust gases. The efficiency of exhaust decomposition reaches over ***%, and the heat recovery efficiency exceeds 95%. The main structure of the RTO consists of a combustion chamber, ceramic filling bed, and a switching valve. Depending on the actual needs of the customer, different heat recovery methods and switching valve options are selected.
The organic waste gas is heated above 760 degrees Celsius, causing the VOCs in the waste gas to oxidize and decompose into water. The ceramic regenerative heat exchanger should be divided into two (or more) zones or chambers, with each regenerative chamber sequentially going through the processes of heat storage, heat release, and cleaning, repeating continuously for continuous operation.
Application Scope
RTO environmental equipment is suitable for industries such as oil, chemical, plastic, rubber, printing, pesticides, footwear, and power cable production, which contain organic components like benzene derivatives, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, ethers, esters, etc. It is designed for the purification and treatment of organic waste gases with concentrations ranging from 100PPM to 20,000PPM.
