Features/Applications:
Compensating cables for thermocouples are insulated wires that, within a certain temperature range (including room temperature), have the same nominal electromotive force as the matched thermocouple. They are used to connect thermocouples to measuring devices to compensate for errors caused by temperature changes at the point of connection with the thermocouple. They are available in two types: extension and compensating.
