2. Pre-treatment Methods Before Hydroponics
Before hydroponically cultivating lucky bamboo, it's essential to prepare properly to ensure its vigorous growth. Firstly, select fresh lucky bamboo, remove any withered and dried leaves, clean the root, and then trim it diagonally at a 45-degree angle with a sharp scissor before proceeding with the hydroponic method.
For bamboo plant hydroponics, choose clean water; filtered water from a water purifier or distilled water are both suitable. During hydroponics, do not allow the water level to be too high, as this hinders stem respiration and can lead to rot. Generally, the water should just cover the root base of the bamboo plant by about 10 centimeters.
