Choose fire dampers from Xurij Air Conditioning – reliable, high-performance, and top-quality, creating a comfortable living environment for you – related usage introduction of fire dampers
A fire damper is a normally open valve that can be activated either by a control center's 24V DC power or manually. It closes automatically at 280°C, and reset must be done manually. Its function is to close the valve automatically when the smoke temperature reaches 280°C, as by then, people should have been mostly evacuated and there is no practical need for smoke exhaust. At this point, the smoke is already carrying fire, and the automatic closure of the valve helps prevent the spread of the fire. The smoke exhaust outlets of the system can also be equipped with normally closed fire and smoke exhaust outlets, thus eliminating the need for smoke and fire dampers on branch pipes. During a fire, these outlets can be opened by the control center's 24V DC power or manually, and they will close automatically at 280°C. Resetting is also manual. A smoke and fire damper should also be installed at the entrance of the smoke exhaust fan room to prevent the fire from spreading to the level where the fan room is located.

Dezhou Xurui Air Conditioning specializes in manufacturing various fire dampers.
To prevent the spread of fire and toxic smoke at high temperatures during a fire through ventilation ducts, fire dampers must be installed on the ducts of the ventilation and air conditioning systems.
(2) When connecting exhaust ducts for kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, etc., to vertical shafts, appropriate measures should also be taken to prevent the spread of fire along the ducts between floors. If there are no measures to prevent backflow, a fire damper should be installed on the branch ducts when connecting the exhaust ducts for kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, etc., to the vertical shafts. If there are measures to prevent backflow, a fire damper may not be required.
(3) The fire damper should automatically close when the temperature reaches 70°C. The fire damper is generally equipped with an easy-melting link for automatic closure and is interlocked with the fan.
