Floating Oil Seal Overview:
The floating oil seal consists of two identical metal steel rings and two rubber rings. Its working principle involves a pair of metal rings supported by a pair of rubber rings, forming a sealed space within the housing (but not in contact with the shaft). During operation, the two ground seal surfaces of the metal rings fit tightly and slide against each other, ensuring smooth operation while effectively blocking external dust, water, mud, stones, sand, and grit. This protects the internal lubricating oil from leakage. Product types include DO, DF, and XY models.
Advantages of Floating Seals:
Reliable design, easy installation
Low cost, high efficiency
Extended service life
Automatically Compensated Axle Eccentricity
Self-healing abrasive sealing surface
Effectively isolate external dust, water, and sand to protect internal lubricating oil and grease.
