Electrodialysis experimental equipmentPrimarily used for simulating industrial operating conditions to determine the basic parameters of liquid-solid separation and purification, particularly desalination or salt concentration processes. It verifies the actual effectiveness of the electro dialysis process, providing technical support for industrial system design. This equipment is suitable for various specifications of electro dialysis membrane sheets, allowing for quick replacement and easy operation and maintenance.
The laboratory electro dialysis unit is composed of main components such as partition plates, electrically driven membranes, electrodes, and clamping devices. The electrically driven membranes exhibit selective permeability to ions of different charges. The cation membrane allows only cations to pass through, blocking anions; while the anion membrane allows only anions to pass through, blocking cations. Under the influence of an applied direct current electric field, the ions in the water migrate in a directional manner.
Due to the electric-driven membrane separator being composed of multiple compartments, the anions and cations in the dilute compartment migrate to the adjacent concentrated compartment, thereby desalinating the brine. According to experimental requirements, this equipment can be filled with either phase-separated or homogeneous membranes, used for processes such as concentration, desalination, separation, and purification of feedstocks. It is applicable in fields like chemicals, food and beverage, plant extraction, and environmental water treatment, particularly suitable for use in universities, research institutions, corporate R&D centers, and small-scale production.
Electrodialysis membrane experimental equipment structural features:
Compact structural design, small in size, portable, easy to install and use.
Operation is simple, and the equipment runs stably.
Small circulation volume, excellent separation effect.
Low system operating pressure and energy consumption.
