Socket iron pipe elbows come in several types.
Ductile iron pipe elbows are available in T, K, N1, and S types.
Ductile iron pipes are essentially spheroidal cast iron pipes, as spheroidal cast iron pipes possess the inherent properties of iron and the performance of steel, hence the name. The graphite in spheroidal cast iron pipes exists in spherical form, typically ranging in size from 6 to 7 grades. In terms of quality, the spheroidizing grade of the cast iron pipes should be controlled at 1-3 grades, with a spheroidizing rate of ≥80%, thereby significantly improving the material's mechanical properties and giving it the inherent characteristics of iron and the performance of steel.
Features: Possesses the essence of iron, the properties of steel, excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, easy installation, mainly used in municipal and industrial enterprises for water supply and gas transmission.
Elbows come in three types from the connection perspective: Double Flange, Double Socket, and Socket-Weld.
Each type of elbow fitting is available in four angles: 90, 45, 22.5, and 11.25 degrees.
2. Therefore, there are a total of 3 x 4 = 12 types of elbows.
Fourth, a continuous improvement in indoor space is crucial, especially when using all types of piping components. Most people are concerned with their durability and resistance to damage. A significant factor is their recyclability and reusability without causing new environmental pollution. For plastic hoses, most can recycle the scraps for reuse. However, for PE-X and its waste or old pipes, they are not recyclable and cannot be dissolved, which has become a challenging issue to investigate.
Ductile iron pipe production is a detailed process. Ductile iron pipes used for high-pressure fluid conveyance, also known as daily welding pipes or commonly referred to as black pipes, are used for conveying gases, oils, heating steam, and other high-pressure fluids on a daily basis. The characteristics of these ductile iron materials are smooth inner walls, lightweight, corrosion resistance, good anti-scaling performance, and low cost. However, they also have several drawbacks, including:
The raw material for the easily corroded, thermally expandable iron pipes with poor pressure resistance and poor workability upon improper construction, featuring low flexibility, is forged from magnesium, calcium, and other alkaline earth metals or rare metals.
Ductile iron pipes are forged using continuous casting and water-cooled centrifugal forging methods, with the latter being a modern technique. Compared to simple cast iron pipes, water-cooled forging not only enhances corrosion resistance but also boasts high strength, excellent toughness, thin walls, light weight, impact resistance, large bending capacity, and ease of installation. It has also been successfully implemented and utilized domestically. In many regions of our country, ductile iron pipes are used for medium and small diameter pipe connections, employing socket and spigot joints or flange connections; ductile iron pipes allow for limited angles and must have superior seismic resistance and sealing properties.
Ductile iron pipes can be graded based on the wall thickness coefficient K or the allowable working pressure C. When graded by the allowable working pressure C, large sizes up to DN1000 are required. Gas pipes should be graded based on the wall thickness coefficient K. The specific wall thickness and allowable pressure for self-anchoring joints are provided by the manufacturer.
Flexible interface components are classified by the working pressure allowed, with a letter "C" added in front of 10 times the PFA (working pressure allowed). For example, if the PFA is 4Mpa, the pressure grade is 0.

Shanxi Jinsuntong Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturer Installation Key Points: 1. Clean Pipe Ends: Remove all debris inside the socket and clean it thoroughly. 2. Clean Gasket and Apply: Clean the adhesive from the gasket, bend it into a "plum blossom" or "8" shape, insert it into the socket groove, and press it down along the entire gasket with your hand or use a rubber hammer to ensure it is flat and evenly seated. 3. Apply Lubricant: Apply lubricant evenly to the inner surface of the installed gasket in the socket and to the outer surface of the spigot. 4. Lower the Pipe: Lower the pipe to the bottom of the groove according to the requirements, usually using manual or mechanical methods. 5. Install Equipment: Position the prepared equipment, ensuring that the cleaned pipe sections are not re-contaminated during installation. 6. Push the Pipe into the Socket: To facilitate the insertion of the spigot into the socket, first place the spigot inside the socket and press it onto the gasket, secure the钢丝 rope and chain, and tighten the chain. At the same time, allow someone to shake the pipe left and right at the socket end until the spigot is fully inserted. Leave a gap of about 2mm between the socket and spigot, and ensure the distance from the outer edge of the socket to the gasket is consistent. Ductile Iron Pipe Materials Corrosion Treatment 1. Asphalt Paint Coating: Used for gas transmission pipelines. Preheating the pipe before painting can improve the adhesion of the asphalt paint and accelerate drying. 2. Cement Mortar Lining + Special Coating: This internal corrosion protection measure is suitable for sewage transmission pipelines, enhancing the lining's corrosion resistance. 3. Epoxy Coating 7. Shanxi Jinsuntong Ductile Iron Pipe Fitting Installation: Due to the light weight of the pipe fittings, it is easy to cause misalignment when installing with a single wire rope, leading to the gasket being compressed and not properly installed. Therefore, use a double chain parallel force method for parallel installation of the fittings to prevent the gasket from being compressed. Alternatively, extend the pipe fitting and install using a single wire rope.
Ductile iron pipes are cast using methods similar to those of other industrial castings, but what sets our Jinsun Tong ductile iron pipes apart is the addition of specific spheroidizing agents prior to casting. These include magnesium or rare earth magnesium alloy spheroidizing agents added to the iron melt before pouring to spheroidize the graphite, reducing stress concentration and providing the pipes with high strength, high elongation, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and good sealing properties. The inner wall is lined with cement mortar, which improves the water conveyance environment, enhances water supply capacity, and reduces energy consumption. The pipe ends feature flexible V-shaped joints, and the pipes themselves have a high degree of external elongation (>10%), making the pipeline flexible and capable of working together with the surrounding soil in buried pipelines, improving the pipeline's stress state and thereby enhancing the reliability of the pipeline network. For this reason, Jinsun Tong ductile iron pipes are commonly used in China's water supply industry as main materials. Our company currently has a large inventory of ductile iron pipes and offers them at discounted prices with both wholesale and retail options, providing quick service. Welcome new and old customers to negotiate and discuss terms. Our pipe fitting products range in size from DN80 to DN2600 and can be produced according to customer-specified standards. Our annual pipe fitting production capacity exceeds two million tons, and our products have been sold to provinces across China as well as to countries and regions in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and more. Since its establishment, our company has always adhered to the "quality" principle, with well-equipped processing and testing equipment in the mold workshop, machining workshop, hydrostatic testing workshop, laboratory, and sand cleaning workshop, and we successfully passed the ISO9001:2000 quality management system certification in 2002.
