Huangshan City Self-adhesive Crack Tape Specifications and Pricing
Crack prevention strips are primarily used in the construction and maintenance of new and existing roadbeds for highways, general roads, and urban streets. They offer high tensile strength, excellent flexibility, and good surface adhesion, suitable for roadbeds to prevent cracking caused by temperature fluctuations and vertical loads.
The product is applied to the surface layer. The crack-resistant tape features a reasonable multilayer structure (2mm) that, during the laying of hot asphalt mixture, the top layer's high-strength, heat-resistant fabric does not deform at high temperatures, ensuring the formation of a locally high-strength asphalt mixture layer; the upper coating polymer melts and seeps out from the fabric's seams, bonding well with the asphalt mixture; the lower coating contains sufficient polymer that fills the base surface's imperfections upon melting, enhancing the bonding strength with the base surface. The stability of the lower coating and the backing ensures the formation of a relatively uniform composite layer, meeting the requirements for crack resistance and waterproofing. The product is self-adhesive, making it easy to apply—simply remove the release film and adhere it directly to the crack area. After using a small compaction device for stable pressure, the bond with the pavement is even more secure, without any shifting.
Capable of meeting the construction requirements for top-grade asphalt mixture laying. Placing the anti-cracking strips on asphalt concrete surfaces that are prone to cracking or peeling can reduce and block the thermal shrinkage stresses exerted on the road surface, thereby minimizing the tendency of cracks to reflect through the surface layer. The laying also isolates the subgrade from the upper wearing course, further contributing to the road's durability.
Thus, the upper layer is shielded from multi-directional displacement and shearing stresses, suitable for highways, bridges, and airports.
