(1) Primary structural and performance requirements

Jiangsu Du'an Environmental Low-SpeedSubmersible propellers are applied in hydrolysis and acidification ponds for horizontal flow. The propeller should be capable of continuous operation, intermittent operation, and resuming operation after a long-term shutdown under fully immersed motor conditions. It must maintain stability throughout the operation process, with the horizontal flow velocity at the bottom of the pond not less than0.3 m/s。

The impeller and the impeller shaft are keyed and fixed at the end of the shaft, with sealing applied. A locking device must be used between the impeller and the shaft to prevent loosening during both forward and occasional reverse rotation. The motor shaft section in contact with the wastewater (between the impeller and the mechanical seal) is fitted with a shaft sleeve protection or other effective protective measures to prevent electrochemical corrosion. The three seals consist of a nitrile rubber lip seal mounted on the motor shaft, which can isolate the gearbox oil chamber from the stator chamber. The external seal on the impeller shaft is a mechanical seal containing a stationary and a forward-rotating corrosion-resistant sintered tungsten carbide (WCCR) or equivalent ring. It is designed to not damage the mechanical seal when exposed to the stirred liquid, with a design service life of not less than 30,000 hours. The seals should not require maintenance, adjustment, or be dependent on the rotation direction.

The bushes can be compressed by a sealing tube, which is secured into the cable junction box with two stainless steel screws. Instead of using torque for rotational sealing, the bushes are moved along the cable's axial direction by the interaction between the sealing tube and the ring.
