Polymer mortar is a novel building material that has emerged in engineering in recent years. It is made by mixing cementitious materials with organic polymers that can be dispersed in water, significantly enhancing the performance of the mortar.
Polymer dry powder mortar boasts excellent elasticity and flexibility, ensuring no cracking, hollowing, or falling off during application; it has a long service life. The product is easy to use by simply adding water and mixing. It allows for thin-layer application, uses less material, has low waste, and extends the building's lifespan. The production and usage process are non-toxic and odorless, with no emissions, ensuring safe, hygienic, and pollution-free construction.
What are the construction techniques for polymer dry powder mortar?
1. When configuring, the weight ratio of water to dry powder is 1:4. We first need to add water and mix the material evenly. After allowing it to stand for 3 to 4 minutes, then mix it again.
2. Prior to product installation, wall priming cleaning is required.
3. Mix the mortar well and evenly spread it on the thermal insulation board at a thickness of about 2-3mm. Then, press the glass fiber mesh into the mortar with a trowel. Once the surface is slightly dry, apply a second coat of mortar with a trowel until the mesh is fully covered.
