Baoxin Floor Deck serves as a formwork during construction, bearing construction loads and the weight of concrete. In use, it acts as the bottom reinforcement. After the concrete reaches its strength, a composite effect is produced.

Baosin - Closed Combination Deck Features:

· Strong concrete shear grip: The special closed-rib design ensures excellent longitudinal shear performance. Under the ultimate allowable design load, the closed deck has not shown any slippage between the steel deck and concrete.

· Fire Performance: The ribbed panels are fully encapsulated within the concrete, similar to the reinforcing steel in cast-in-place concrete slabs. The closed deck slab can fully replace the tensile reinforcing steel in the floor slab under positive bending moments, achieving a fire resistance rating of 1.5 hours without the need for fire-retardant coatings.

· Composite floor section: Closed composite floors offer a greater effective height of the floor, providing enhanced resistance to positive bending moments during the usage stage.

· Ceiling Grid Suspended System: Suitable for installation of ceilings, suspended ceilings, electrical and water pipes, etc., without the need for drilling or welding. Can be moved, removed, or reinstalled as needed during the building's use.

Easy and quick construction: No need for any end caps, no leakage, and can shorten the construction period.

Flat board bottom appearance: The floor bottom is smooth, offering a more aesthetically pleasing look for buildings where ceiling installation is not desired.

· Can effectively reduce floor height: With fire prevention and vibration resistance regulations, the total thickness of closed deck slabs is only 110-130mm, reducing weight, lowering costs, and increasing net height

Low cost: The steel bars at the bottom of the closed deck plate, which bear positive bending moments, are replaced by closed-profile steel sheet, eliminating the need for fire-resistant coating, reducing steel consumption and lowering costs.

Cautionary Notes:

When the concrete above the closed ceiling deck has been poured and the concrete has reached 75% of its designed strength, the slot-type suspended system may be installed and used for its hanging function. Suspended facilities for ceiling, electrical and water piping, air conditioning lines, and equipment can be provided.

Construction Steps

Section 1: Dimensional Re-inspection and Tension Line

1. Axle Size: Verify that the steel beam axle size matches the configuration of the corrugated steel sheet layout.

2. Surface Treatment of Beam Top: Ensure that all hanging rings on the steel beam top have been cut off and ground smooth; rust, oil stains, and debris on the beam top should be cleaned thoroughly.

3. Alignment Lines: From the floor deck layout, mark the starting line and middle control line on the top surface of the beam, with the starting line indicating the laying direction and the steel plate lifting and lashing number. The middle control line can also serve as the starting line for segmented laying.

2. Hoisting and Laying

1. Baosin - Decking panels should be installed according to the approved layout plan. When bundled corrugated steel sheets are stacked on structural elements, attention should be given to the design support strength of the structural members to avoid exceeding their allowable load.

2. Baosin steel deck panels should be bundled and stacked, spanning across multiple steel beams. When placed between two beams, attention should be given to the width of the end supports to prevent tipping and potential drop accidents.

3. After the Baosin roof deck is hoisted into place, start from the extended starting line on the steel beam, sequentially position each panel along the laying direction, and adjust the panel joints appropriately after reaching the control line.

4. Construction should be halted during strong winds. Any unpacked corrugated steel sheets should be re-tied immediately; otherwise, they may be blown away by strong winds, leading to safety accidents or damage to the corrugated steel sheets.

III. Fixed

1. Baosin Corrugated Steel Sheets should be immediately fixed to the structural members using electric welding after positioning.

2. Any corrugated steel sheet that has been laid but not secured may be blown away or slipped off, potentially causing an accident.
