PLC control cabinets refer to programmable control cabinets, which are complete sets of control cabinets capable of controlling motors and switches. PLC control cabinets are equipped with protection functions such as overload, short circuit, and phase loss protection.

PLC Control Cabinet Overview
The PLC integrated control cabinet features overcurrent, short-circuit, and phase-loss protection functions. It boasts a compact structure, stable operation, and comprehensive functions. It can be assembled according to the actual control scale, enabling either single cabinet automatic control or the formation of a distributed control system (DCS) with multiple cabinets via industrial Ethernet or fieldbus networks. The PLC control cabinet is adaptable to various industrial automation control scenarios of different sizes. It is widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy, chemicals, papermaking, and environmental protection wastewater treatment.

PLC Control CabinetEffect
PLC control cabinets can complete equipment and process automation control, achieving perfect network functions with features such as stable performance, scalability, and strong anti-interference, making them the core and soul of modern industry. They can be custom-designed according to user needs, including PLC control cabinets and variable frequency cabinets, to meet user requirements. They can also be paired with human-machine interface touch screens for easy operation. The equipment can also communicate via data transmission protocols such as DCS master station modbus, profibus, and can be controlled and monitored by industrial computers and Ethernet.

PLC Control CabinetStructure
The PLC control cabinet typically includes the following five components:
1. Air Circuit Breaker
A master circuit breaker, which controls the power to the entire cabinet. Something every cabinet absolutely needs.
2、PLC
This depends on the engineering requirements. For instance, if the project is small, a single integrated PLC might suffice. However, for larger projects, a modular, card-based system may be necessary, along with redundancy (i.e., two sets alternating in use).
3. Power Supply
A 24VDC switching power supply. Most PLCs come with an internal 24VDC power supply, so decide whether you need this switching power supply based on actual requirement.
Relay
Generally, PLCs can directly send commands to the control loop, but they may first be relayed through a relay. To put it simply, if the output of your PLC is 24VDC but the control loop diagram requires a 220VAC supply from the PLC, you will need to add a relay to the PLC output. This means that when the command is sent, the relay will activate, and then the control loop node will be connected to the normally open or normally closed contact of the relay. Whether or not to use a relay is also determined by the specific situation.
5. Terminal Block
This is definitely a must-have for every container, configurable based on the number of signals. If it's just a plain PLC control cabinet, these items are typically required. If your control cabinet needs additional components, you can increase accordingly. For instance, if you need to power up some on-site instruments or small control boxes, you might have to add more circuit breakers. Or if you need to connect the PLC to a higher-level computer, you might need to add switches and the like. It depends on the situation.
