The Mela sheets come in a variety of colors including milky white, black, natural, and transparent. They feature stable dimensions, straightness, and excellent tear resistance, as well as heat and cold resistance, moisture and water resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and good insulation properties, electrical, mechanical, heat, and chemical resistance.
Mylar sheets are used as insulation material for motors, capacitors, coils, and cables, and can also be compounded with barley paper to create composite insulation materials. They are now widely applied in the electrical insulation industry, suitable for use in electronics, household appliances, instruments, displays, motor slots, computer and peripheral device gaskets, spacers, screens, and protective functions.
Mylar sheets can replace general adhesive tape, used for packaging electronic components during machine assembly, ensuring safer operation of the components.
