Roadway engineering survey
What are the main contents of road engineering surveying?
(1) Control Measurement: Perform plane control measurements and elevation control measurements as required for road engineering.
(2) Topographic Surveying: Field measurements for strip topographic maps adjacent to roads, as per design requirements.
(3) Midline Measurement: Measure and set the road position on-site according to design specifications.
(4) Cross-section and longitudinal profile surveying: Measure the elevation changes of the ground in the direction of the road centerline and perpendicular to it, and draw cross-section and longitudinal profiles.
(5) Construction Surveying: Timely stake out various pile points in accordance with design requirements and construction progress as the basis for construction.
