The integration of information technology with society and the economy has led to an explosive growth in data. Data holds significant value and has become a fundamental strategic resource for a nation, exerting an increasingly profound impact on global production, distribution, sales, consumption activities, economic operational mechanisms, social lifestyles, and national governance capabilities. The premise of data value is the management of data. However, the increase in data volume and the complexity of data formats present challenges to corporate data management.
The Data Management Capability Maturity Model (hereinafter referred to as DCMM) is a national standard officially released in China in the field of data management. It aims to assist enterprises in applying data management concepts and methods, establishing and evaluating their data management capabilities, continuously improving data management organizations, procedures, and systems, and fully leveraging the value of data in promoting enterprise informatization, digitalization, and intelligent development.
