Boxed Structure Features
1. The transformer box employs a modular design.
The transformer tank is separately placed in a sealed oil tank with high-voltage components such as high-voltage load switches, insertable fuses, and backup current-limiting fuses. The two tanks are horizontally arranged on either side, completely separated by a partition. The partition on the top
Insulating wall-through conduit is available for connecting transformers and load switches, allowing for easy replacement without affecting the use of the other box.
2. Advantages of approximately two boxes arrangement:
Two boxes with no interference between them.
Prevent upper oil from flowing into the bottom oil tank due to leakage, which can cause the upper oil tank to be low on oil (insufficient or no oil can lead to arcing when operating the load switch, posing a danger to both equipment and personnel).
Another advantage is the ease of maintenance on both sides. When the transformer room or load switch room is being maintained, the two boxes do not interfere with each other, making the process convenient and quick (whereas if the maintenance were arranged vertically for the transformer, the upper oil tank would need to be completely removed first).
Opening the transformer's oil tank is extremely inconvenient for maintenance.
(2) The compartmentalized structure addresses the issue of transformer oil contamination caused by load switch operations and fuse blowouts.
