What is SRRC certification?
SRRC stands for State Radio Regulation Committee, the National Radio Regulatory Committee, which was unified as the China National Radio Monitoring Center following the merger of the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center in 1998.
In 1999, the state established special frequency ranges for different categories of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies are legally usable in China. This means that radio transmitting equipment sold or used in China is subject to different frequency regulations. Additionally, applicants must pay attention to the specified scope of certain radio transmitting equipment. Not only is a radio type approval certification required, but also a China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and a Telecommunication Equipment Entry Permit (CTA).
SRRC Certification Mark
No special certification marks; just a set of model approval codes (CMIIT ID: XXXXXXXXXXXX)
Who is responsible for the SRRC certification?
Issuing Authority: Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
Issuing Authority: Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Radio Management Bureau
Testing Unit: SRMC (State Radio and Microwave Center)National Radio Monitoring Center (NRMC)

7. Six-Sided Sample Diagram (must include all interfaces and sides)
SRRC Certification Process

SRRC Certification Fee
Given that the SRRC testing fee has been waived, companies can apply for free. However, due to the complex application process, it's advisable for businesses to prepare in advance and conduct pre-tests to significantly boost their chances of approval! This helps avoid additional costs or delays in obtaining certification due to failed tests.
SRRC Certification Fees Issue, Free Policy Interpretation for SRRC
Under the new policy, SRRC certification is free of charge. Once a product passes the testing, the review is approved, and the SRRC certificate is issued. If the test results are不合格, a testing fee must be paid, and if the sample test results are不合格, a new application is required: the company submits a model certification application – the national agency officially accepts it – the company pays a deposit to the testing agency – product testing. This will significantly extend the certification cycle, affecting product launch.
In short, while the new policy makes the application free, the guaranteed processing time is no longer what it used to be. By hiring a third-party testing and certification agency, we can help clients obtain the SRRC certificate in a relatively shorter period, for a service fee.
What does the SRRC test for?
Product emission frequencies vary, and so do the detection contents. The main detection items include: power, spectrum range, frequency tolerance, bandwidth, and spurious radiation, etc.
The tested equipment model should include test procedures, methods, standards, conditions, test connection diagrams, test accessories, and recent test reports (either copies or photocopies are acceptable).
2. If the transmitting port of the device under test belongs to a non-standard interface, please provide the test connection cable for the device under test and the cable attenuation value documentation or chart with the company's seal.
3. If necessary, the applicant must send engineering technicians to assist with the testing.
4. Suggest that companies conduct preliminary tests on samples before shipment to increase the pass rate of tests.
