SIRIMWhat are the main products in the scope?
MalaysiaSIRIMThe scope of certification includes various electrical and electronic products, petrochemical and water purification equipment, sanitary napkins, children's toys, medical devices, drinking water, etc., produced domestically and imported. （3Petroleum chemicals and water purification equipment: Gas water heaters, electric water heaters, solar water heaters, air purifiers, water purifiers, etc.
Batch Certification: Only applicable for actual importers; one-time certification required, factory audit not necessary.
Product Certification: Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and importers are all eligible to apply; factory audits are required. The first audit is exclusively for the factory, while after two years, both the factory and the Malaysian warehouse must be audited.

（2SubmitSIRIMCertification Application and Documents: Applicant companies should fill out and submitSIRIMCertification application forms and product samples, along with detailed specifications, technical documents, and images of the product, with the application form clearly listing: product name, model, brand, standards, etc.
（3）SIRIMReview:SIRIMCertified engineers will review and categorize your materials, ensuring the submitted materials are complete and accurate. After review,SIRIMThe certification center will issue testing and inspection requirements to the relevant departments involved.
（4Tests: The testing center conducts product inspections and tests to verify if your products meetSIRIMCertification standards and specifications. Depending on the type of product, the scope of test standards and test results may involve various fields such as physics, mechanics, chemistry, and environmental protection.
（5）SIRIMReview: After testing is completed,SIRIMCertified engineers will assess the test results. If your product meetsSIRIMCertification standards and specifications, then we will approve yourSIRIMCertification Application; otherwise,SIRIMWe will provide a detailed inspection report. Your company will need to make the necessary corrections and improvements listed in the report before submitting a new application for testing and evaluation.

SIRIM Is the certificate holder the manufacturer or the importer?
SIRIM-SIRIM The certificate holder can be either the manufacturer or the importer. If the manufacturer does not have a branch in Malaysia, you will need to appoint a local Malaysian company as your agent. We can provide an agent in Malaysia.
SIRIMHow long is the validity period of the battery product certificate?
